Re: Who has the most Lego? —Shiri Dori
(...) I would agree to those two, but I also think that Frank Filz would be way up high on that list. Hmmm... And, I think it's COnan and his uncle, or is it Conan and his nephew. Not sure. I haven't met him, but wouldn't object to... -Shiri (23 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Frank Filz
(...) Yup, several other people also (actually, there are definitely folks who buy more than I do, I just never get around to selling much of mine). Last I checked, my spreadsheet of cataloged sets came in at over 250k pieces. I'd estimate that I'm (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Shiri Dori
(...) I think you're thinking Poindexter, not Stanley, and the answer (according to <set:3033>) is 713. Whee! -Shiri (23 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I think you mean Mike Poindexter. Mike Stanley sells a lot of what he buys, I believe. My most recent estimate places my collection at 750K but I have essentially stopped buying large quantities. I have (just about??) all the LEGO I need at (...)      (...) They all of that layout apart! Wow, what a twisted lot just like the rest of us. (URL) is this link from your site? I got it from RTL last year. junior (23 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Frank Filz
(...) Woops, I always get the two mixed up. (...) Yea, you're probably right. Even if I keep up my rate, it would be 7-8 years, and presumably I won't keep up the rate (in theory I've dropped my rate quite a bit). (...) Yea, I'm starting to run into (...)         Re: Who has the most Lego? —Steve Demlow
(...) Half of Conan's basement is a room with the sorted containers, where stuff is built. The other half is largely overflow - large Rubbermaid containers with bulk stuff (not just bricks) that doesn't fit in the building room. (...) We did a lot (...)          Re: Who has the most Lego? —Andrew Tyrone
(...) Hmm... maybe he could make a storage bin... out of legos. -- I want my tombstone to say "<-- I'm with stupid." (23 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Tim Courtney
(...) Hehe :) I think they should make t-shirts for some that go in pairs, which would say: 'I'm with stupid -->' and 'West Palm Beach County Voter' respectively. :) -Tim (23 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Jonathan Mizner
(...) I've seen the area north of West Palm Beach. It's all alike, just lots of giant hotels and condominiums, about 20 feet from the beach. In other areas, for miles all you can see are RV and mobile home parks. And then comes the miles of flat (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —Gary Istok
(...) What!!! Larry has more than me!!!!! :-) Actually I have about 650,000 about now. I quit buying bulk, and have been buying some rare and scarce stuff. Here's a few quirky insights into my collecting addiction: Classic style Windows & Doors: (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who has the most Lego? —John Gerlach
(...) Fortunately, Minnesota's weather cooperated with us, and we were able to do most of the destruction / 'stage one sorting' out in the garage. That gave us more room to work. I have pictures somewhere (in the digital camera? downloaded to a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
