Hi Folks,
another parts question
can anyone tell me which set a black plane tail comes from ?
this is the same type of tail as found in grey in the 6544,
white in the 6392,6597,1775 etc.

<part:4867>, you mean?  According to James Jessiman's reference, it's in
<set:6190> Shark's Crystal Cave.  There may be another in Aquazone
somewhere; that theme isn't well inventoried, I don't think.

I am currently trying to do a list of what sets have what types
of airplane tails and also what sets have a few other rare pieces
.. black barrels, Level Crossing Center Rail Cap Insert  etc.
If anyone has any info. that they would like to contribute ..
please do !

thanks
Yvonne

Plane tails from Adventurers:

2x3 plate base, curved top, <part:3587>:
<set:5925> 1 Brown
<set:5928> 1 Black
<set:9377> 1 Black

2x3 tile base, pointed top, <part:6239>:
<set:5935> 1 Black

Anything else you'd like to know?  What is your criteria for "rare" pieces?
The Brick Detective is on the case...
