  eBay LEGO sales just amaze me.
 
The AT-ST is going on there for $30. a $10 set. I should buy a few and put them up. Start the bidding at the price I paid for them. Amazing. Do people ever research the thing? And the guy isn't even saying anything like it's rare. His description is (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I guarantee the people that these are selling to are Star Wars toy collectors who know very little about the LEGO market. The SW toy sites are incredibly detailed in their reports on Hasbro's movement on figures, vehicles and bases, but none (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

I buy and sell on ebay (mostly buy)~ The ONLY things I buy on ebay are old sets that I cannot get anywhere else, or lots of parts from big sets (that you would have to get 8 $70 sets from). I am selling a few of the shell promo sets on ebay - I put (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
