    Re: Finished Statue —James Powell
A Question to those people who have the Statute of Liberty, how did you find it? Is it worth spending $300(CDN) on getting it or not? Would it work as the centerpiece of a town? (That's what I'm thinking of getting one for) James Powell (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Finished Statue —Jennifer L. Boger
I love it. Well worth the money for us :) And I was thinking of using it in a harbor myself, but then I"d have to build the rest of NYC :/ (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Finished Statue —Tom Reed
(...) I think it was worth getting. I like the new green color and I'm impressed with the array of bricks you get with it. If I didn't like the new color, then I probably wouldn't think it was worth getting. As for the actual statue, I'm not wild (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

(If I trash the math here, please feel free to correct me, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Finished Statue (Scale Computing) —Jennifer L. Boger
(...) Doh. Ok, after rereading the site I failed to mention in the last post: (URL) granite pedestal is 89' and the foundation is 65'... I still didn't run the numbers to find out how big a minifig scale one would be, but i did find a picture of the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Finished Statue —Frank Filz
(...) As the other post mentioned, it probably is a bit too small, but it's not that bad. Also, the head is very cramped. If I remember right, only 5 or 6 people could be standing in the head and looking out the windows (which are where the 1x1 (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)
