Is it me, or does it suck to trade minifigs?
I'm lining up a trade right now, and collecting figs to trade is pure
torture. Call me weird, but looking at their smiling faces and knowing that
I'm in a sense betraying them is almost too much to bear. Right now I have
some BT2 figs and various figs who will be stripped of things like armor and
torsos ready to get shipped out. I'm getting some other figs in return (its
always funny opening a shipment of minifigs :) - it just sucks packing them
up and sending them away.
Anyone else share the same feelings??

I've only traded a couple of times, and out of those two times I got rid of five figs: Darth Maul(smile?..What smile?), Black Ninja, ResQ guy(had enough already), and ObiWon Kenobi & Luke Skywalker from landspeeder (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Sigh, I know exactly what you mean! I just went through a torturous trade. I traded imperial mini-figs for new, un-opened castle sets. Lego is getting very expensive and I had to decide what theme I would stick with. So I chose castle. Not to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Uhhh.... weird... <grin> I dunno, I never trade off smiley heads (only ask for them!), and no, I do *not* have a problem with taking minifigs' heads off; so I guess I just don't have that problem. I only give off mostly nasty-looking faces, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Trade AWAY minifigs? Ummmmm....errrr....gee, the thought never struck me. I just keep accumulating more. If I get some odd figgy I don't need, it becomes an organ donar: when I get in some older fig that has loose legs, bad arms, or hands that (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)
