Can an assembly of LEGO bricks (ie a model) be copyrighted? Or is it the photo of the model that can be copyrighted? (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

You cannot (as far as I know) copyright an assembly of Lego, but a photograph that you took can be considered yours by law. example: Ansel Addams took many photographs of nature/landscapes in the black and white poster format.
