FUT lugnet.admin.general
Perhaps you should set up a separate status page on an unconnected server. That
way status of LUGNEet can be checked before an "EMERGENCY" is reported - ie if
the status is reported "normal", when evidently its is not, users will then
know that there is a known problem.
Also you'd best define what an EMERGANCY is, otherwise you'll get a bunch of
calls prom people asking about their Auczilla winnings. :-)

| The LUGNET newsserver was down for approximately 30 hours (as you probably noticed) and is now back up and running. (Actually, the newsserver itself never stopped running and serving articles, but it did stop accepting articles.) The problem: (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general)
