Oh dear! I liked the 4-digit system because it sounds professional,
I've seen other products with 5-digit numbers and it looks terrible,
think about your Star Wars set with 710350 in the corner - it would look
terrible. My other hobby, slot cars, Scalextric have had 3-digit
numbers for ages and just kept reusing the old ones - they have just
started using 4-digits and it is really logical
1000 - Sets
2000 - Cars
8000 - Track
Easy.
Does this mean that 880002 German/Austrian Soccer Starter set is the
first to use the new 6-digit scheme?
