(...) Yes, there are many uses for these hinges. The Medieval ones that I was thinking about are octagonal or hexagonal buildings. Examples are: the Florence Cathedral Baptistry, Aachen Cathedral Octogon, the many sided Chapter Houses (meeting (...) (25 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.general)
