(...) I think the Throwbots are way out there, nothing special. The Cyberslam series is kinda corny also. But the king of em all. The worst of the worst is the Time Traveler, aka extra pieces series. I have seen pre-school kids make more realisic (...) (24 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) I guess it depends if your only criterion is realism. I like to build realistic things, but my first lego set after my dark ages was the flying time vessel, and I loved it! It was just so cool (and crazy, but who cares). And all those sets are (...) (24 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

The best for me would be the "TRAINS". With the StarWars a close 2nd. Extreme Adventures Is good as well. I would like to have seen a nice Train in the Old west theme. Note I said good not the #3225. The 3225 is O.K. however I would like to see a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best & Worst LEGO Themes —Jonathan Reynolds
I think we all agree then (and I speak for the masses), the best is "TRAINS". More seriously I would put "Paradisa" in 2nd place because it is the only theme which features everyday items which are not great whooping Police cars, beefy rescue trucks (...)    Best: * Model Team (best of all times) * Town (and related: Trains, Boats) especially during the first half of 90's, excluding Time Trip thingies, Town Jr. (and related: Spaceport, City Center, Arctic Action, Extreme Team) * Technic (excluding (...)
