Maybe we're all somehow affecting reality with our beliefs! Rumours become
true, we all expect new sets to be more and more juniorized and they are, we
expect TLG to get worse sales with juniorised sets, and they lose money for the
first time ever (last year), we expect the Star Wars sets to be of higher
quality because of LucasFilm's involvement, and they are...
This could be why the Star Wars buckt is in limbo! I bet if you asked 50
people here whether it was ever going to come out or not, you'd get about 25
no's and 25 yes's. Reality is just waiting to see what we decide!
Ok. Here's what I propose: Armed with the knowledge that our beliefs are
changing reality, we all beleive that Lego Direct will somehow figure out that
old sets reisued (like, say, the Metroliner, or other town sets, etc) as Lego
"Classics" would sell like hotcakes, and they put them out. Simultaneously,
the designers at Lego are given order to return to circa 1987 set
composition/design philosophies. If we all beleive it, it will become true.
Focus!

| (...) My understanding of the rumor was that TLC couldn't produce (i.e., introduce) any _new_ space sets (especially ships without wheels). The LEGO Insectoids product line is almost two years old now, even if some of the sets are still in (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
