    MY FOTW (!) —Scott Arthur
MY FOTW (!) I actually found this on Saturday on the way up town with my daughter. I kept quiet about it so far as it is so difficult to describe. I borrowed a camera last night, and have just posted some pictures. Before you feast your eyes. I'd (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Rachel Kingston
(...) check this out, the "matchbox" style cars are there too. Hard to see what is in it though, loooks as though you have a lot of extra pieces from the same corca?? Box is certainly close though. (URL) have been trying to track down information on (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Frank Filz
(...) The pictures are taking forever to download, so all I've seen so far is the picture of the box. My guess is that Gary Istok is going to wet his pants :-). I also wouldn't be surprised if he suggests you donate more to the charity. I could see (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Frank Filz
(...) Oh, I see. I was misinterpreting the picture. It looked like there was a contents sheet glued to the inside of the box, which was torn. What it actually is is the catalog page in a sleeve... Ok, so the only detriment is that you may not have (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Dave Schuler
(...) I'm stunned by the clarity of the transparent bricks! I have some from just 18-20 years ago that have already gone cloudy. For that matter, I wasn't even aware that they ever made transparent macaroni bricks. What a find! (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Frank Filz
(...) I picked up about 30 transparent macaroni bricks in a lot of 60s LEGO macaroni bricks (about 30 each of white, red, and clear). They are somewhat cloudy, but not as bad as some of the other old clear bricks I've got from other lots. (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Gary R. Istok
(...) OK, now that I've had to change my underwear..... (heh-heh)..... What a find indeed. This is a little bit of a complicated story, but here it goes.... This set is German set #710 (Holzsortierkasten) which translates to Wooden Box Set. This (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: MY FOTW (!) —Scott Arthur
So would this set have been available in the UK, or would the buyer have had to import it especially? Scott A (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)
