Re: What's up with the Wal*mart Lego selection?

(...) You go right ahead and talk about Swedish shops and the lack of LEGO in a given type of shop. I will _not_ complain. If you happen to write them in English, I'll read them and see what is happenning in Sweden. It would make me feel so worldly (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

I'd like to join technic beams together. The trick about the axles is cool though. Thanks for sharing that. I'm curious what the old robot head looks like, but you imply it's not ideal, so no biggie. Here's a crude image that I made with mlcad that (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) The choice of the part itself is easy. I've long wanted to see this piece produced: (URL) The choice of color is more tricky. My first answer is red, since that's a color I tend to use a lot. However, in terms of overall usefulness (to a wide (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

Every time I think I've seen all the variations of parts TLG comes up with, I find one I haven't yet come across!! I hope Jake McKee and his colleagues keep that up! Of course, with the Enzo Ferrari being a new set, it's fairly easy to miss some (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

If he is suggesting what I think he is - that is an axle elbow which has three orthoganal connections - it can be acheived (somewhat less neat) with a 90 degree elbow, an axle pin and an axle joiner. If Xanthra actually means Technic Beams - then (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Does it exist?

Since Lego plates are each a third of the height of a standard brick, then two of these would account for two thirds. I am not aware, however, of a brick half the height of the standard brick. -- (URL) - Build Robots (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

Yep. poor choice of words on my part : ( Instead of planes, lets use lines as you suggest. I'd like a studless "3d" version of that corner piece you pointed out that joins 3 beams at the intestection point of 3 mutually perpendicular lines. It just (...)
