  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

(...) WOW! This is the first I've seen of your 'designer alternates' and so I've just spent a highly enjoyable jaunt through your Brickshelf folders. Fabulous work which shows just what Lego is all about - I hope some of the designer set design (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: An alternative open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company

(...) I'm not brown-nosing. I'm just disgusted with the way some so-called Adult fans of LEGO act like three-year-olds when the company makes a change they don't agree with. (...) Yeah, they're a company that needs to focus on its core business - (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

When was Lego first sold in Your Country?

OK, I too am tired of the flame wars...... So on a different note: What year was Lego first sold in your country? I know, I know, go look in the Lego official website timeline. Well it is very misleading because it references sales and opening of a (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO moves production

(...) My new (URL) Hogwarts Castle> box says: "Components made in DENMARK, SWITZERLAND, SWEDEN, CHINA and KOREA" So add Czech Rep, and there you go. (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Thanks a lot, guys, you've made me hate LUGNET.

(As much as I hate big dramatic "Look at me, I quit" posts, I truly feel the need to say this, not to bring attention to myself, but to get this off my chest.) When I was in high school (and all through college, for that matter), LUGNET was around (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: An alternative open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company

Some snippage. (...) I agree with Peter, I think excessive crossposting is something to be avoided. And I'm not the only person that feels that way. I'd also remind those thinking of crossposting excessively (for shock, for humor, to make a point, (...)   Re: Civil War!

(...) I wonder if we should all put away our toys (or dump them off at the local children's hospital, donate to the tsunami children) and go outside for a bicycle ride, or grab a book or something. -Patrick (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Civil War!

(...) All right, Brickwars it is! We can have a massive battle at Brickfest, the color-fast against the color-less. um, are there any bley minifigs out yet? (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

(...) Hello Nathanael! I'm so glad you posted this pic/link for people to see. I saw it earlier today on Brickshelf and was hoping that it would get the attention it deserves. I'm a big fan of your all of your work, not just this model. I hope when (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Civil War!

Let's do this! I'm tired of this debate. I'm sick of the contention between individuals. Enough!!! Let's just 'throw down' and go to war. Let's just put the civility aside and flame the hell outta each other. C'mon, bring it... I like the old grey, (...) (...) I have to agree with Bob here... Y'know, sometimes the consumers know better than the management William! That, and your whole brown-nosing here smells like @$$ What's so productive about giving TLG praise? They're a company, they don't need (...)   Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

(...) Wow! Looks great! You're too good at this. You take the "What would you make?" thing to the next level. You make alternates that look like they could have been the main model. Tell the truth, does TLC consult with you on the parts selection (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

  Re: Lego Studios Question

(...) I also have this problem. There used to be a FAQ telling you to send them questions through e-mail. I sent two emails, one in Sept/Oct and Another in late November. I never recieved any response. Please let me know what they say if anyone (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

Really impressive for a limited parts pallette. Is this an official alternate model? Or just proof that Lego's alternate designers need to work harder? :^) -Stefan- (21 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

  MOC4100: Cranetruck

Before I continue building alternate models of the new designersets I still wanted to build another one of the 'old' 4100 Maximum Wheels designerset. I tried to use as many bricks of the set as I could and this is the result: (URL) (Click the pic to (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX) !!

  Re: LEGO moves production

  Re: LEGO moves production

  Re: LEGO moves production

(...) To the best of my knowledge, that is correct. The sets are made in-country to be more adaptable to the product mix that is desired by the marketplace in each country (plus, I figure it's easier to ship bricks en masse than sets--a lot of (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)
