| (...) Paint stores sell a product called 'Goof Off'. Really!. It removes paint from all kinds of surfaces, without harming anything. I've used it on carpet, and on various kinds of floor surfaces. ***I've never tried it on ABS, use a less-valuable (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

| Hey all, Seems to me I haven't seen a FOTW in quite a few blue moons. While shopping for some new shirts at the local Ross about a month ago, I noticed they had some Lego on deep discount. | I have some of the 48x48 green baseplates with the soccer field white dots. Has anyone had luck removing the dots from baseplates. Normally the dots make it a rare item and removing the dots is bad. The soccer plates I got a reasonable price and (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Hey Darrell, Nice advertisement. This is the first time I have seen the 1:43 trucks advertised with Lego bricks. Since this is the mid-1950's, the bricks were slotted bricks.
