Re: Event kit update and request for data

(...) I don't know, we have a hard enough time getting our little 5x8 trailer in and out of some of the exhibit halls we do shows in. I'm guessing a 14' trailer would be quite a chore to manuver through a hall crowded with trucks and trailers. jt (22 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 4497 Tub?

(...) At first look, it appears to be the same set, just in a red tub instead of a blue one. The image on the right of sample projects is pretty close to the one on the end of 4496. Weird! Oh yeah, I think 4496 is a great tub! Lots of the bigger (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: KOHL'S clearance: combo Designer Sets (4047 & 4048) down to $12 (!)

The Kohl's in Salem, NH has the same deal. 4047, 4048, and 4101 on clearance. They had a few of each set on the shelves, and after the discounts, it came to about $31 for 1 of each. -Eric (22 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: New Blue?

I suspect the lightish blue is the result of TLG mixing more "flexibility" into the droid arms. I've noticed this often with the 1x2 brick with half a friction peg piece, especially in blue. I think they want the plastic to be a bit softer so the (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  4497 Tub?

I noticed a red tub 4497 on the shop @ home site. Any info on what it contains or how it compares to the blue 4496 tub? Thanks, Mark (22 years ago, 21-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
