Put them together on a MOC? if they're on a flat surface, side by side, then, yes, you can see that something's slightly off. Put them together on the same MOC a (...) Whilst other threads focus on old and new colours (please keep those out of this one), there is a general issue of parts availability that I think should be addressed in the marketing strategy of the Lego company. Old colours * 48x48 baseplate in old lt grey * train track in old dk grey * 1x2 and 1x4 log bricks in old brown New colours * easy access in bulk to "common" parts in the new shades (and if S@H can't/won't cope, pile it high in the Pick-A-Brick and (...) (...) I agree, anything that should be made out of wood should be available in the old color. The old brown looks more like actual wood to me than the new one. It is already confirmed. This set is already available to some in Europe and it contains new grey parts. The reason you only find the old colors available at PaB is that Lego is trying to get rid of them. Once they are gone then the new colors can (...) Hi Jake, Here are a couple of possible ways to go. 1. Create theme buckets in old colors: "Classic-Space Bucket" - basically this would include speciallized elements found in the first lines of the Space theme - take for instance the light gray (...)
