(...) I'm sure they will sell out relatively quickly as there will be a mad AFOL rush to buy "the last production run", but are those LSAH prices really competitive with say Bricklink? (...) The actual quality isn't as bad as some people seem to think, but there has indeed been juniorization in MEGABLOKS--almost as long as in LEGO sets. (...) We've got the Hot Wheels catalogue at home. There's some interesting and fantastical cars in there - much moreso than the Matchbox cars, which tend to be acurate models of real cars - I've used it several times for inspiration for Lego models. (...) In my case it's a mom-and-pop toy shop. Very old school. You go in and the staff practically begs you to play with the toys or let them show you a magic trick.
