(...) It hasn't changed my buying habits at all. I don't buy a lot of sets, and when I do I choose them mainly for the parts selection. You only can buy by the cup...but I'm sure there are plenty of goodies to fill in the gaps. I have been using the 1x1 transred tile for filler, I now have a Tie Bomber 60% covered with them for no good reason. (...) --- Outgoing mail is certified (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Short term, my spending has gone up. I spent a lot of money at Dollar General and on clearance stuff at WalMart and KB - all 2003 and earlier sets.
