I think they're just refusing to admit that one of the reasons for the color change is that they use recycled ABS now for some grey and black (as noted in various articles on the web). Since they seem to LOVE the color blue (ever notice how much (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general) !!

The entire LEGO color pallete leans well towards the warm side of the spectrum, including colors that you wouldn't immediately think of, like green and white (this probably has something to do with the fact that natural (...) I have not bought any 2004 sets yet, nor do I have any plans to do so. since I heared of the colour change I have bought 2003 sets from Wallmart, TRU and S@H, and I have placed some Bricklink orders (naturally with lots of grey and brown peices), (...) No its just the 8 bricks in the middle of the frameconstruction where the stand (feet) is mounted. All the weight from the ship is resting on those two stands and offcourse the bricks where those stands are mounted will get all the tension. It can (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
