  Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) I responded before I saw your post here. (URL) I've removed the BSV code from my site LiveTheNow.com You can unblock me now. :P --SteveR (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) What I'd rather see is Kevin to implement at least a few of these features, if not even more right on Brickshelf itself. Which is the whole point of BSV, to show Kevin just how much better Brickshelf *could* be. --SteveR (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) The reason the "real name" info was removed was to comply with COPPA. (...) Much improved? Here's what I see: Pros: selectable number of images per row selectable number of rows per page large image resize function Cons: slower reponse (by (...)   Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) Well, ideally this could be set up without using a bunch of hacks, instead using true content sharing ala the LegoFan.net discussions. (...) Keep in mind that I wrote this right at the time of the server move, so ads were not included yet. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Re: Brickshelf Viewer (and MIME types)

(...) Hey, that's better. But does anybody actually use x-multi-part-ldraw for mpd files? I was under the impression that lugnet only serves up x-ldraw for dat, ldr, and mpd content. And back to the new GUI, I don't think it's really an improvement (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) I agree, it's pretty darn nifty! (...) Perhaps there is a way to have it get at the LUGNET cross reference info? I must say that I thought this was nifty. Really! But what I would really really like to see, though, is that there be a way (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) The ldraw and track designer mime types were inadvertently left out when Brickshelf moved to new servers. I just added these: application/x-trackdesigner tdl application/x-ldraw dat ldr application/x-multi-part-ldraw mpd application/x-ldlite (...)   Re: Brickshelf Viewer

(...) Can you do anything for folders with .LDR files? Take a look here: (URL) would be nicer than a screenfull of blank icons. It might also be nice if the server applied the application/x-ldraw mime type when you click on an LDR DAT or MPD file. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Brickshelf Viewer

Several weeks ago, I created a php interface for Brickshelf which incorporates many of the features I've asked for many times. I know Kevin probably won't approve of this since it doesn't carry over his advertisements or count hits, but I wanted to (...)   Re: 1773 & 2140

(...) Well, I can help you with one of those. I scanned the sticker sheet for 2140 and uploaded it to Brickshelf.   Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies

(...) Actually, the monofilament whip was a HUGE letdown for me - in fact, given that everyone else I knew had already seen the movie and told me not to see it because it was crap, I went in with very low expectations for the movie as whole, and on (...)   Re: Sci Fi Novels --> movies

(...) "I'll torture you so slowly you'll think it's a career." Man, if they'd ditched Bruce and Andie for a pair of well-cast comedy actors, they would have had a kick-arse movie going there. At least they had the good sense to put Richard E. Grant (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)
