(...) Of corse I've heard of supply & demand. I'm the first to admit the castle sales slowed. That left Lego with two choices... 1)redesign the set 2)increase the demand. One of these choices is signifgantly more costly. Since they are whining about (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: The Knight Bus has arrived... but it's not all good news

I wonder how much it costs them to assemble a focus group that will say a quality reduction is exactly what they would buy! This is absolutely ridiculous. There are so many different colors in the Lego color pallete that it is absurd to think that (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

The truly sad thing about your press release is it is believable. A couple of years ago I'd have laughed at the concept, nowadays its almost believable. I feel sorry for Jake. Every stride forward made in fostering closer relations with the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Knight Bus has arrived... but it's not all good news

(...) This issue added to the "new gray" issue makes me wonder; Is the new gray just one color, or will we look back in a few months time to see a whole range of new grays, just as we are now seemingly getting a range of purples :) JB (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Anyone know of a good source of non-basic black parts?

Are there any sets out there that are a good source of specialized system parts in black (i.e. not bricks, plates, slopes and other basic parts) I am looking for more black greebles to make my next space creation look cooler :) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  Re: Removing print with Brasso

  Removing print with Brasso

The topic has come up a few times and I've used the technique myself with great success. I recently bought a bunch of the NBA sets that were massively discounted. Along with the brick and plate, I found myself with piles of parts I would be hard (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
