(...) Yes, I did. And got no really helpful answer, and no answer to my follow-up-question at all. Nice to see though that the "news" of the colour change has reached customer "service" (propably more through the customers mouth than through (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

Jake, Thank-you for asking. I am very much in favor of TLG bringing back the old colors. The cornerstone of the Lego System is compatibility. The idea that set elements can be combined. Colors are every bit as much a part of the Lego System as stud (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
