Re: clearance started at your (at least my) target store...

(...) Yup... I cleaned out the Waukegan, IL, Target! =) I made a deal with my wife that I would NOT make any additional LEGO purchases this year if she let me get all this LEGO: (URL) Off course she did not approve the deal but she let me get the (...)   Re: Strange unidentified sword

(...) Ah! Thanks a lot, Dave! That's very helpful. :) I've been informed that these are for trade or sale if anyone's interested. 2x4's were an especial rarity in the bucket I found this one in, so if you're interested in working a deal, let me know (...)   clearance started at your (at least my) target store...

Hi, I was in my nearest Target store (in Niagara Falls, NY, since I live in Southern Ontario), and I seen that a whole bunch of LEGO was 50% off. These included the (URL) Snowboard Super Pipe>, (about 4 or so on hand) (URL) Ultimate NBA area>, (at (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Strange unidentified sword

(...) That sword is from the Coko brand of clone bricks (specifically from the castle line of products). Dave! (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

  Strange unidentified sword

Hey all, At today's local LEGO meeting, I discovered a rather unusual chrome sword in one of the buckets. (URL) like nothing I've ever seen before and isn't listed on Peeron. Sorry the pictures are kind of pixelated - my camera's zoom doesn't work (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Standard grin pattern discontinued? (was: Re: Toolo reissues?

(...) According to Peeron, the standard minifig grin is in new 2004 set 4500 Rebel Snowspeeder. So it doesn't look like discontinued. But none of them in 2003, only 12 of them in 2002. Not much. (...) then). But they also make idiotic fig grins for (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Standard grin pattern discontinued? (was: Re: Toolo reissues?

(...) Hmm, but that would make the pilot Wedge, the biggest chicken in the Rebellion. ("Wah, wah, I can't stay with you, wah wah sorry" HOW ABOUT DOING THE BEST YOU CAN INSTEAD OF TURNING TAIL AND RUNNING, BOY?!?!) Uh, sorry about that. Had to get (...)   Re: Very Sad News....

(...) SNIP (...) I beg apolodies if I offend anyone, but was anything ever determined? It just freaks me out that there's no apparent reason for such a terrible loss. If the family doesn't want the info released that's fine, it's just really creepy (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Standard grin pattern discontinued? (was: Re: Toolo reissues?

(...) My understanding is that the new Snowspeeder (4500) has a standard grin head for Dak, just like the old one. (Of course, I'd much rather that the guy in the backseat were Wes Janson, not Dak. . .) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Any comments/reviews for 10129 Rebel Snowspeeder?

I'm very likely buying it no matter what... but I just wondered if anyone had comments or even a full review to share for the UCS Snowspeeder? I bought and thoroughly enjoyed the AT-AT, so I figured the snowspeeder would be fun to build as well. (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)
