OK, I picked up the new shuttle set. The new light grey 1x1 look bad when mixed with old 1x1s. Enough so that I won't be mixing them. The new "gunmetal" dark grey looks like the same type of new plastic, somewhat translucent, or having a higher (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Wow, that new gray looks GREAT! I cannot believe I ever bought railroad track with those old ugly dark gray ties. There is no way I am going to buy the current stock of LEGO train track to help LEGO get rid of their old ugly track. Maybe if they put (...) (...) I do this a fair bit since I travel a lot. Carryon (or hand, or in-cabin, depending on your usage) is best if you can arrange it.
