  Re: Brick Sorting

Hey Alex, So far I have my collection sorted this way: Rarer colors have their own drawer for everything since I don't have a lot of pieces yet. All my Castle and Pirate-specific pieces are grouped together in several large drawers. My basic bricks (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brick Testament site linked with child porn case??!!

(...) Yeah, after all the build-up, the actual page of links was almost shockingly mundane, and a bit of a letdown, I must say. Thanks for excavating it, though, Bryan. (...) You really do get the feeling of "trumped up charges" after reading that (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

Re: Brick Testament site linked with child porn case??!!

I question the "questionable" nature of such web site links as the Brick Testament (the biblical stories depicted are right out of the bible, there is no editing or 'artistic license' taken with the stories), Thomas the Tank Engine (sorta like (...)   Re: Happy birthday, Minifig!

(...) It seems like only yesterday... (...) Hmmm... 25 years will mark the expiry of (some of the) minifig patents too... which could be interesting (I note that the head (more or less), the pigtail girl hair, the peaked cap and the cowboy hat are (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Happy birthday, Minifig!

(...) *raises her glass to the Minifigs* - "And here's to the next 25 years! long awaits the 50th Anniversary" *applauds* Let's hope that Lego keep them as they are... but I have to say, the new colours for 'hair' is a nice treat - hope they will (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Happy birthday, Minifig!

Hello! (URL) 1978 the LEGO tadpoles (the old minifigs without extremities) finished off their metamorphosis, and they got arms and legs. For 25 years now, Minifigs have been living in the Towns, Castles and various Planets of our Legoland, the (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general) !!

  Re: Brick Sorting

When I started organizing, I just used big cupbord pull-out trays. I organized the Bricks first. I put all the red bricks in one tray, all the red slopes in another tray, and all the red inverted slopes in a third tray, as the trays were fairly (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

(...) Alex, The technique used depends on the size of your collection. After a certain point, putting all of a color in a bin becomes excessively difficult to use especially with black. Obviously the "perfect" sort would have all pieces sorted by (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Brick Sorting

Being the New Year and all, I made but one resolution that I truly want to carry out: sorting my Lego collection. Scanning through Brickshelf, I've noticed a lot of pictures with an array of sorting bins, containers, boxes, etc. My question to the (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: 2 new parts in new racer sets

(...) I must agree with this...I think the 1 x 2/1 x 4 bracket has also appeared in the <set:10030 Imperial Star Destroyer> in dark gray.   2 new parts in new racer sets

Hi all, Here in Denmark some small new racer-sets have been available for a couple of weeks (sets 8358, 8359, 8360). There are some useful new parts: In set 8359 a light grey bracket (like part 2436) - not 1x2/1x4 though, but 1x2/2x2. In set 8358 a (...)
