What's this you say? There has been a coup in Helix? And a new and brutal
militaristic regime come to power? And it wants all outworlders gone from the
sector? On pain of being fired upon without warning? And they're looking for
us now? And they're confiscating ships and imprisoning crews?
And their gaols have NO PRETZELS?
HES Rebecca is out o' there!
And we didn't do all that badly, scoring a rather hefty and entirely recoverable
starship to add to the ranks of New Pacific freighters.
Very sad still. We look forward to the time when the political situation
stabilises and we can return to Helix.

I liked the game, and the improvements on Spraw just fine.

Finding technology can have impacts outside the Helix sector, which might be
badness for the Starship game as a whole. Needing to find documents, codes,
sensor readings, bulletins from the right parts of Fleet Command blah blah, this
is good.

I always find maps that include starless planets a bit strange, but I fully
appreciate that that's just me. It seems to me a map should detail stars and
systems, and navigational objects, rather than simply planets and moons. levels
of details about what you do there and what you scan etc can be sorted iin
action emails.

Buckets

I think its fine as it is.

One does not always have complete control over the in-sector political
situation. Don't be hard on yourself. I haven't even attempted an adventure in
new Pacific or Spraw...

Does this mean that the Errant Kangaroo and the Magellan are setting down on the
nearest planets in New Pacific, putting down their starship tools and starting
dirt scratching colonies?
Richard
Still baldly going...
(insert glorious ftx sig here)
