Gauging interest in BrikWars at PDX BrickFest

I'm signed up to host/manage the BrikWars gaming sessions at BrickFest PDX on Friday and Saturday evening (7pm-10pm both nights). I'd like to gauge interest in the sessions to determine if one, both, or even no nights will have various levels of (...)   Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Ya, I could put them up as stills in a more traditional way. (...) Do the right- and left-arrow keys step forward and backward in the Windows version of the player? I set my keyboard repeat rate to 60 cps and then it really flies through 'em. (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) No, I mean as individual images on web pages somewhere, or something more controllable in terms of the user being in charge of the experience. This user feels very "not at all in charge". The images flick by so fast they give me a headache and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) I was so happy to have caught that expression. He held it for at least 5 seconds. What were you saying to him? The look of astonishment and disbelief he gives is priceless. (...) Ya, that's from taking multiple shots in certain cases from (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) OS X: use the QuickTime player Windows: use the QuickTime player Linux: use mplayer (and you can specify the frame rate on the command line). --Todd (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Do you mean alternative video codecs or formats? no, sorry, just MPEG-1. (...) Trouble downloading or trouble playing? What toolset are you using? Do you have the QuickTime player? --Todd (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) I would like to re-iterate this request. This looks interesting, and I am curious - but I don't have the time to search for an appropriate mpeg player. -lenny (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Is this available any other way? I find these very hard to work with using the toolset available to me. That's my problem of course, not yours, but I am still asking. (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Oh, I know what you're talking about. I had this flashbulb-memory-burn-in seem to happen after that. I don't think I saw the next few seconds because I was laughing. Weird how it stands out. Also odd how some of the images appear to zoom in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) These are great, Todd! I am especially fond of the photo of Joe in second four of the regular-photo sequence. You know the one I'm talking about .... (...) Next time anybody is in town, let me know and we'll get together, kick back, and hoist (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) I will be in Philly on the 6th of March, but the 7th should be open. So we're looking at a Teklevel 2 or 3/4 on the 7th? Next thing is to see how many people are interested and set a rough size for armies ( and preferences for Teklevel ). I've (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) Maybe we should put it out of this month so we have plenty of time and people can build stuff, maybe the weekend of March 6-7? We could even do both days possibly and have a big one. lemme know Sean (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Lego Saddam Captured!!!

(...) Alternate Timeline, LOL!!! :p :D (URL) still not finished with any of the CZ-GC armies, their buildings, urban combat areas, and of course the military vehicles (all still in prototype forms). I would've been done with the R.P.'s main battle (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) Well, there's actually been no date suggested. If you're referring to the WAMALUG meeting this weekend, then you'd have to just play with whoever showed up. I wouldn't be able to make it this weekend because I'm going to North Carolina to see (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) We could do it at wamalug, but the way the weathers looking I don't know how many people are going to turn out. I'd have to leave early anyway for other obligations. Maybe we could pick a different date same location? Sean (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Is anyone still interested?

Hey, we had some good interest in a DC based Brikwars and then it all stopped... Is anyone still interested in this? I'm taking a trip this weekend to pick up a few things to have on hand for a possible game. If you're interested, either post here (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Brikwars in DC?

(...) I was thinking a TL2 or TL3 game.. I was going to leave it up to majority concensus. I put my vote in for a TL3. I have plenty of cannon, horse, and gun toting men in blue and gray to field. Also, we need to decide on a time. (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Brikwars in DC?
