Re: Anyone available to help create a Lego birthday party?

(...) Hi! You may want to browse this site for building ideas: (URL) site offers many free instructions on a huge variety of models. Models created by Lego fans. Some have links to shops on BrickLink to buy the parts. For example, here's a cool (...)   Re: Anyone available to help create a Lego birthday party?

(...) Hi Lara, I have a few ideas for you but was wondering how old your son is since that would impact what would be appropriate for that age. I've done Lego them parties for two of my sons so far so I can make a few suggestions if you can let me (...)   Anyone available to help create a Lego birthday party?

I am looking for someone who can offer assistance in creating a Lego birthday party for my son who is a major Lego fanatic. He has been playing with Lego since he was 2. He has been putting together Lego that is for ages 11 and older (286 pieces and (...)   Lego Birthday Party

Hoping to help someone else in planning a child's party, I'm reviewing what we planned for my son's 5th birthday Lego Party last fall. Many of these ideas were inspired by www.birthdaypartyide...lego.html, so be sure to check there, too. We (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.fun.party)

  Re: Bill Changing Machine

(...) I think seeing machines at LUG events would be awesome! no reason it can't be done, other than being careful to avoid "confusion" of TLC involvement. I'd recommend slapping a big LUG sticker on the side of the machine and NOT putting a LEGO (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.fun.party)

  Re: Bill Changing Machine

(...) Knowing that Lego in bulk 25 cent vending machines has been a long-time dream of Suz's, I was also sad when her supplies were exhausted. I was very happy to be able to refill the machine with what minifigs and elements I had available so more (...)   Re: Bill Changing Machine

(...) Actually, those pictures were taken a few hours after my capsules ran out. Kevin Salm was good enough to refill the machine with his own elements (giving them away), so that others could enjoy the LEGO-vending experience.. Thank-you, Kevin!! (...) This is totally shameless, I know, but.. I signed LUGNET up as an affiliate to a retailer who carries this stuff. We earn 20% of all sales. I've put the link on Baseplate for now.   Re: 'Lego Birthday Party'... while you are out shopping...

(...) There used to be CandyBlox (URL) but I don't know if you can still find these anywhere. I know some "consumer groups" were upset about the idea of teaching kids to "eat bricks". jt (22 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.fun.party)

Re: 'Lego Birthday Party'... while you are out shopping...

(...) Hey Melody, Are you talking about the little SweetTart type of candies that are in the shapes of little Lego bricks? If that is what you mean, they can usually be found at most of those little candy stores inside the Malls. If you don't have (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.fun.party)

Re: 'Lego Birthday Party'... while you are out shopping...

Here in Ohio the candies are available at the Cub Foods supermarkets. They are in the bulk food section, where you just put the amount you want into a bag and pay by weight. They are not branded or marketed as "lego", but they look just like bricks, (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.fun.party)
