We've got some pretty good guessers out there.
The contest results thus far:
High: Mark Millère ($100) too low; Jody Meyer ($113.15) too high.
Median: Greg Howell ($39.40) too low; Maggie Cambron ($51.50) too high.
Low: George Haberberger ($17) too low; Mitch Hiveley ($23.45) too high.
Everyone who has played or has yet to play can make new guesses today.
Guess the low, median and high prices for the parts in a 4288 on
BrickBay.
Guess the high price and win 400 unique parts in a 4288 red bucket.
Guess the median price and win one gallon of clone bricks.
Guess the low price and win two gallons of clone bricks.
(See http://news.lugnet.com/announce/?n=1047 for full details.)
To LUGNET first time posters: Hooray!
Greg: Sadly, I have waaay more than three gallons of clone bricks --
originally I was going to offer a first prize of 10 pounds of clone
bricks and a second prize of 20 pounds, but the thought of paying that
much postage to mail junk around (especially if the winner is
international) was just too depressing. Most of my clone bricks were
bought in the mid-eighties; at the time, I found Lego too expensive.
(Not any more.)
Good luck to all the contest participants!
Cary
