Re: Come on, be honest. Do you slip LEGO into the shopping cart?

Mmmmm... Perhaps this is why my addiction seems to be getting worse, not better? I think I should take 10 or 12 weeks to study this. Evil Wayne ___...___ "There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness." (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

(...) Er... You realize that LUGNET as a rehab center for brickaholism is rather like having your AA meetings at the beer tent during Oktoberfest, right? J (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

(...) Hi Wayne. (...) We all have this problem, they tell me that people like us are sick, but I simply believe that our mental disorder is one of passion and creativity. (...) We all have to go through the twelve-step program together. And Lugnet (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

Re: Come on, be honest. Do you slip LEGO into the shopping cart?

Hi, my name is Evil Wayne, and I'm a brickaholic. Yes! I made my wife a promise last month that I wouldn't buy any Lego sets until after the new year. Guess what? I think I've manage to buy a small set or two EVERY WEEK! Oh, I have a problem all (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

Come on, be honest. Do you slip LEGO into the shopping cart?

I have a confession to make, and I was wondering how many of you do this also. I, being addicted to ABS LEGO have a habit of curbing my shopping to stores that sell my drug. I get everything I am *supposed* to get and then (if I have enough room to (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Another Christmas Train: The Santa Express

(...) Thanks for the feedback, Nathan. Prior to making the Santa Express I had been thinking about creating a Psychedelic Train which would have virtually no relation to reality and would go round and round inside a Fun House like set that would (...)   Re: Another Christmas Train: The Santa Express

(...) John - Thanks for the compliments & feedback. I had thought about "bragging" in my original post that I am at least clued in enough to know that the proper train width is 8 studs wide. I picked up this tip from the GMLTC folks during (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.trains)

Re: Another Christmas Train: The Santa Express

(...) Really great work, Greg. I'd have to say that's my favorite LEGO train I've ever seen =). I'm not a trainhead or anything but now I've got the urge to buy one and build theme trains like that. We need more silly trains, less excruciatingly (...) (24 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Re: Another Christmas Train: The Santa Express

(...) Nice work, Greg! I like a lot of the details-- lights, wreaths, etc. Though it seems, however, that you have already picked up the most valuable building tip you could get -- to build your train 8 wide!! {:^D As an aside, trains which run (...)   Re: Halloween costume contest pics

LOL!!! I loved the pics! I wanted to go up to legoland for the halloween celebration they were having, but alas, things do not always work out :( So I kinda did it through your pics, lol. I have some pics of my visits from legoland, will try to get (...) (24 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.space)
