  Re: LEGO-decorated Christmas Tree

(...) A local charity event has small decorated Christmas trees auctioned off as part of their fundraising efforts. I used a 4' artificial tree and decorated it with ornaments made using two different years of advent calendars (add wire hangers), (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

  Re: LEGO-decorated Christmas Tree

(...) Keen. The Star Wars Mini worked particularly well. I have, in the past, decorated my tree with all the daily presents in the Lego Advent Calendar. That tends to yield some interesting, if non-traditional ornamentation too. Adrian (20 years ago, 28-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

  LEGO-decorated Christmas Tree

For some reason, it never occurred to me before to decorate my home Christmas tree all in LEGO ornaments (1). I didn't go crazy, just a few designs, but the overall impact was quite effective. Non-LEGO parts included: Tree, tree stand, electric (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.basic, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Christmas MOC: Overgrown Vignette!

Merry Christmas all! On Christmas Eve (Last night) I built a little vignette-style MOC, though on a larger scale: (URL) Enjoy, and thanks for looking! Merry Christmas!, -John "J1A3L5" Langrish. (20 years ago, 25-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build, FTX)

Homemade Xmas Gift: Magazine Rack from LEGO Bricks

A couple of years ago, I got irritated by a stack of magazines laying around the house and decided to throw together a quick little holder for them using some DUPLO bricks. Later on my mother-in-law spotted it and asked if I would build her one. (...) (20 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX) !

Re: I'll deserve coal next year!

(...) Penne does work VERY well for this. It's not so funny when, as an AFOL, someone does this to you with a non-Lego gift, however. Two Christmases ago my then-girlfriend did that to me; she found a box that was JUST the right dimensions for Lego, (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

Re: Happy Christmas! from The Brick Testament

(...) My Brick Testament Christmas card arrived in the post yesterday and it is BY FAR the best season's greeting I've received this year. In fact, stumbling across the Reverend's announcement the other day on one of my now rare visits to this site (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

Re: I'll deserve coal next year!

(...) Ah, the sounds of the season that we're all too familiar with. (...) Richie, Great idea with the pasta and empty Lego boxes! I'll have to try that next year - back to being a pain as I can't keep getting Laurette jewelry. Merry Christmas (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

Re: Happy Christmas! from The Brick Testament

Just received your card this morning here in the UK. I would like to say thank you for the time you spent doing this. As my wife said, it's lovely. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Tim (20 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)
