Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) Hey Cary, BTW, none of the above response was meant to be serious. I was just kidding around while avoiding your question. But now I'm afraid that my message might not have read as silly as I meant it.. Anyways, "Yes, Cary," I think your (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) Hmm.. let me put it this way: - If you don't care, DON'T TAKE THE POLL! ;-) - You don't know?? Isn't that why we're asking the question?! ;-) This isn't a quiz, I only asked "what do you think?" - Future polls? WHAT future polls? - None of the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

Wee-haa! Well folks, we're 90 minutes into it now. So far there's a big sympathy for minifigs needing oxygen, while Jailbreak Joe and King Kahuka go sadly unloved... -Suz (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

In lugnet.fun, Suzanne D. Rich writes: ... (...) baggies?] ... My answer: none of the above. I think the holes are there to allow the bag to be squeezed, not so that it weighs less, but so that it takes up less volume, allowing the box to be (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Just for fun, take a poll

I made these recently, intending to share them with LUGNET members. I hope you will all participate, so we can get some solid results! Should be interesting.. This one harks back to olden days of rec.toys.lego. The idea isn't mine. Credit goes to (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.announce) !!

  Re: Interesting retail pack

(...) I'm not seeing it. Maybe it's a defect of the price tag that happens to correspond to the reflection? (...) That's because it's not a plastic-glued-to-cardboard blister pack. The plastic is formed so that the cardboard back can slide in and (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.fun)

Re: The Sea Monkeys are Coming

(...) Damn grammar mistakes *shakes fist in the general direction of high school english teachers* I think if the carpet were sentient, it could help me with the sorting. That would be pretty cool. Unless it's really bitter about always being walked (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: The Sea Monkeys are Coming

(...) Well, you could use the bounce characteristics of LEGO on carpet in some kind of sorting scheme... Of course the original sentence suggested the carpet would take action to do the sorting - perhaps Adrian should do something about that upity (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: The Sea Monkeys are Coming

  The Story of Andy's Computer

Re: The Sea Monkeys are Coming

(...) Actually, after re-reading, it sounds like I'll be sorting while I walk down the stairs. I suppose it ought to read "moving my entire collection downstairs and then resorting it" Although pitching the whole lot into the basement and letting (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: The Sea Monkeys are Coming

(...) This sentence just doesn't parse quite right, but immediately brings visions of the resorting which could be necessary after the inevitable "oops" while moving LEGO up or down stairs... FUT: lugnet.fun Frank (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.fun)

  Re: Bill Changing Machine

(...) I think seeing machines at LUG events would be awesome! no reason it can't be done, other than being careful to avoid "confusion" of TLC involvement. I'd recommend slapping a big LUG sticker on the side of the machine and NOT putting a LEGO (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.fun.party)
