(...) Good ideas. My suggestion (to tie into the look and feel and professional style of ldraw.org) would be to rephrase the questions to be a little bit more formal. ie: change 'What is this LDraw Thing?' to 'What is LDraw?' and 'Mailing list?!? (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

(...) Good idea. Which brings up an issue -- there would probably be a need for more directory levels than just those represented by the newsgroups, and probably just for FAQ items. Todd, how much of an issue is this? Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

| | Suggestion for LDraw FAQ
[crossposted to lugnet.faq and lugnet.cad.dev, followup-to set to lugnet.faq] Looking at the LDraw FAQ, it looks like a new level of organization is needed, above the current levels. Todd, All, I put an item into the FAQ reiterating TLG's Fair Play policy. I'm pretty nervous about it (I'm not a lawyer, you see) and would enjoy review and criticism on this item. Also, if you see any impolite HTML tokens, please let me know. (...) (26 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.faq)
