  Re: New LUGNET directory structre?

(...) Todd, I'm shocked! Awk? In a Perl world? :-, Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: New LUGNET directory structre?

(...) Sort of. I'll tell ya what, though...I'll give you a bit more than that, and you can extract whatever you need from it. How's that sound? Here's the URL of a script which generates a tab-delimited page (MIME type text/plain) on-the-fly from (...) (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

Call for Mindstorms FAQ Q+A (Was: more Mindstorms FAQ)

(...) The LUGNET FAQ project is up and running again. We are seriously deficient in Mindstorms material, so if you have anything to contribute, please do so! :-, The LUGNET FAQ is of a modular design, meaning that you can grab just the Mindstorms (...)   Re: Progress so far, and a new header

(...) I'm really gonna hate myself for this ('cause I'm gonna haveta go back and find the relevant links) but there ought to be one more optional and repeating header for "Reference:". The data would be a URL to a LUGNET posting, Web site, whatever (...) (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: About that FAQ ...

(...) I hereby announce that I will endeavor to slurp these questions into the LUGFAQ. And my hearty thanks go out to Jim Baker, for his previous work on the project. If anyone would like to supply answers to any of these, please post them! :-, (...) (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.faq)

Re: When are we going to see a "Work in Progress" copy?

(...) That all depends -- how much money are you willing to part with? :-, I have roughly 25 items (plus the Auction & Shipping FAQs, plus the not-yet-converted LDraw FAQ) so it's kinda thin right now. And there needs to be some work on LUGNET's (...) (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Replacing lost instructions

(...) Depends on the set, and how old. S&H Customer service has replaced a few for me dating back to '93. Also, they have quite a few sticker sets, too. I recently got a 6539 sticker set. Call Customer Service... Ya' never know! Eric (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

When are we going to see a "Work in Progress" copy?

With all the great ideas flowing here, I hope we are going to see a draft copy of this thang soon... :-) Greg (26 years ago, 5-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: New LUGNET directory structre?

(...) Okay, I'll start working with that assumption. (...) Do you have a working list of non-ng directories? (...) I uploaded it to my Web site. (URL) unzip it with directories. This is the raw, unadulterated FAQ source, so it's not very pretty. The (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: New LUGNET directory structre?

(...) Yeah. The new directory structure isn't really new; that is, it's a new way of looking at (viewing) things, but it's the same structure as the ng's, in an almost one-to-one correspondence. The only difference is that there are more directories (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Replacing lost instructions

(...) He didn't actually specify which set. I did forward Steve's comments about Consumer Affairs to him, though; I guess we'll see how that goes. Thanks for the offer, though! :-, Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  New LUGNET directory structre?

Todd, I have 15 answered, but uncategorized, FAQ items I would like to categorize. Do you have a rough outline of the new LUGNET directory structure I can play within? Should I just work within the newsgroup structure for now? Also, I will soon have (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Replacing lost instructions

(...) In the US, try Consumer Affairs first. The worst they'll do is say, "We don't have any more of those". Their phone number is printed inside the front cover of the catalog included with most sets. Steve (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Replacing lost instructions

Hey all, A co-worker has stumbled across my Lego page and now I'm the resident Lego expert. :-P His daughter has lost the instructions to her Lego set, and his question to me is, what can he do to replace it? He was thinking along the lines of (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.faq)
