Has anyone seen or own any of the Richard Scarey Puzzletown sets by Playskool (1976)?These buildings in these set are from either cardboard or particle board, not plastic bricks . (...) It's almost a Fabuland chassis, though. Just not quite. The wheels look like old Fabuland wheels to me, although it's been awhile since I looked at my old Fabuland cars. (24 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Disney

(...) Yes, Minnies car has just a plate. But the other cars (which by the way has wheels I've never seen before) have real chassis, but not Fabuland chassis. --Tobias (24 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Disney

Look at the cars more carefully, especially Minnie's - there is no car chassis. It is a flat plate with all the "custom" parts on it (though those all look like they would be old Fabuland parts, not new ones). Amazing, no Town Jr stuff here. (...) (...) (...) So do I. I thought it was some sort of crane (explains the turntable) but why put a birdcage on a turntable? Perhaps it's just one of those crazy creations meant to inspire, but I boudt it. The mystery remains unsolved... --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

(...) The chassis on Mickey's car is a MODIFIED Fabuland Chassis - it doesn't have the tow point on the nose (and I assume on the rear either). The Fence piece (picket) is definitely new. The lamppost is classic FL - but I think the house parts are (...) (24 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

(...) Yeah, I think there's a turntable there. Look closely, it's red and the fence sits on it. Beats me why, tho' :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)
