  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

(...) Why would it matter one way or the other? That's what I'm curious about. Is it like the reason why people like to read People Magazine? (...) They aren't legally obligated to do so for one. It's none of our business for two. It doesn't matter (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Brickworld Announcement - Area Attractions and Food

For those with kids, the (URL) website> also lists the Chicago Children's Museum (26.0 miles) and the Kohl Children's Museum (5.0 miles). And that's just the stuff outside the hotel! The Westin's site shows that they have a pool, and it says that (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

(...) Ondrew - excellent additions to the list...I especially like the horse racing track...And, you and I both neglected to point out the river boats in Aurora...okay, so it is a longer drive...but, it can be a lot of fun too!! B (19 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

(...) There isn't anything wrong with either a for-profit or non-profit AFOL event. Any of these answers are perfectly fine: John Smith will be profiting from this event. Corporation X, LLC will be profiting from this event. This is a non-profit (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

(...) I'm just curious: what leads you to think that this type of information should be public knowledge? It's as if you believe that fest organizers are somehow obligated to account for every penny to the GP, and AFOLs in particular. Do you suspect (...)   BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

Since I just (URL) asked this question> about BrickFest PDX 2007... Can the organizers of BrickWorld 2007 tell us who (if anyone) will be profiting from this year’s event? I noticed (URL) this statement> from a few months back: None of the event or (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Brickworld Announcement - Area Attractions and Food

(...) major snipage! (...) Well pointed out Brickworld team! I would like to add that in addition to the long list above there is sooo much more. <<https://registrati...Logo.png>> Do you have an NLSO (non-Lego significant other)? Do you have kids that need more to do than look at Lego over a warm summer weekend?
