  Re: Late night cramming, anyone?

We're working on a big Mindstorms display called "Candyland".  There will be two or three robots taking orders, driving around to four or five stations, picking up candy, and delivering it to waiting kids. At least that's the idea. Hard telling (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jun-09, to lugnet.events.brickworld)

  Late night cramming, anyone?

So as I prepare for another late night of building in order to finish before Brickworld, I was wondering if anyone else is doing the same during the next 5 days? Right now my living room is a disaster, I have print out's and books laying around my (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jun-09, to lugnet.events.brickworld)

  Re: Aw, no SNOT?

(...) I know how important it is for many people to have no studs showing on anything they build, but that being said and since this is just my opinion, please take it for what it is worth, I personally do not see the need to cover every little stud (...)   Aw, no SNOT?

This being my first Lego con, I was looking forward to learning a bit about SNOT building techniques; I'm always floored when I see examples of it, but never feel inspired on how to do it myself. I guess there's no presentations or workshops about (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jun-09, to lugnet.events.brickworld)
