This being my first Lego con, I was looking forward to learning a bit about
SNOT building techniques; Im always floored when I see examples of it, but
never feel inspired on how to do it myself.
I guess theres no presentations or workshops about SNOT? Hopefully Art &
Architecture might discuss it a little bit, but is anyone else keen to learn
about it in detail?

I know how important it is for many people to have no studs showing on anything
they build, but that being said and since this is just my opinion, please take
it for what it is worth, I personally do not see the need to cover every little
stud when building something. I just think that going studless has become a
little cultish and cliquish.
But again, I understand that some people love this method and I guess are trying
to downplay the fact that LEGO is a toy. We are playing with LEGO every time we
build something. It is not really a serious fine art medium such as oil
painting or fine woodworking. I guess that I just cant get those thoughts out
of my head.
The other thing that seems interesting to me is that so many sets produced by
TLG have studs all over them. Heck, maybe they should release a set that
contains only tiles and the builder has to use glue to put it together! lol
