Questions about MOC's at BrickFest:
Does everyone bring something?

Based on my observations at the first two BrickFest events I'd say that not
everyone brings MOC's to the event.  I'm pretty sure though that those that
didn't in the past wish they would have and will in the future.  It's
definitely one of the greatest parts of BrickFest - getting to see tons of
really awesome, inspirational MOC's.  From the creator's perspective it's
also great to have an audience that you KNOW will be appreciative of your work.

Do BrickFest orgainizers need to know in advance?

I think most folks just show up with their MOC's in tow without any prior
notification.  There's always been plenty of display space (even though I'm
betting it will be tighter this year) for most "normal" table top displays.
I'd say that the organizers only need to know about a MOC if it's something
really huge that will require a special display space or is something that
you like'd to incorporate into a speical presentation (which would need to
be scheduled).

Anything else first-time attendees need to know about MOC's?

Can't think of anything else except to perhaps warn you about the fact that
not only will you have to be carrying your MOC's home with you but there
will also be all that booty from the Store Binge on Sunday.  So don't load
yourself or vehicle down with MOC's to the point where you don't have room
to carry your shopping finds home too (of course you can always ship stuff
home).

See y'all there!

Greg

Is there an address where I can ship some items to in advance so I don't have to travel with them (on an airplane)? Anything else (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
