Re: BrickFest™ PDX 2007 Commemorative Event Kit...

Um, how can it be one-of-a-kind if each attendee can buy two? :P (18 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: BrickFest™ PDX 2007 Commemorative Event Kit...

(...) Yes, Jeremy did a great job with it, I think it's an outstanding event model. (...) Good catch - the bricks for the 2007 event haven't been made yet, so we used the only PDX brick we had available, which of course had 2004 on it (from the last (...)   Re: BrickFest™ PDX 2007 Commemorative Event Kit...

(...) Very nice model!!! I hope you plan to change the year on the engraved brick :) Conversely - If Portland is in a time warp, please place a bet for me over the phone to Vegas - I want to bet on Florida to win the national championship in NCAA (...)   Re: Train Layout at BrickFest™ PDX 2007 (March 30th-April 1st)

(...) Hey, I resent that sort of remark! I am an SCA member AND I do castles... but ... oh, wait. Nevermind. ;) (18 years ago, 15-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) In the past, having watched Christina and Kevin Loch, and all the many others dedicated to planning events, it seemed clear to me that the huge, megaconventions like BF, take much more than 6 months to plan. I think she is stating that no one (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

"...I do not have the sufficient resources to pull the summer BrickFest event together in a way I would be happy about..." I don't understand why you shot this down so completely? First, let me say that I am personally disappointed, so my post may (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) Hmm. This is something that I guess I'm confused on. What's the difference between a regional, national, and international event? I had assumed (quite possibly wrongly) that it was where the folks attended from, not the inital intentions of (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) Good one! But actually, that's a good point; instead of riffing on BrickFest (BrickWorld) or LEGOWorld (BrickWorld), it could've riffed on NWBrickCon (MWBrickCon), which in my mind is the premier regional event in the US. (...) Well, I have to (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) John & the whole community, We want to apologize on behalf of ourselves and the Brickworld Team. If anything we have done to create a great public event in Chicago has offended you, we are truly and sincerely sorry. Our goals were to give the (...)   Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) Which is a shame, because 2BeCon was really a lot of fun (especially the year before, when it didn't implode). And I don't think we'll have a corset-fitter at BrickWorld (mores the pity), or the pirates :-). But yes, on a more serious note, (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
