Hey, Ever hear of WorldCon. It's The premiere SciFi con, it moves every year and groups compete/bid for 2-3 years in advance to host it. So I see no reason why brickfest in all its glory could not become similar. I for one have never been to, and (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) I think our hobby is large enough to sustain multiple fests. Sure, most folks will only attend one per year. Other folks are willing, able, and excited, to attend multiple. (...) I'm not sure exactly where in DC Brickfest is held, but traffic on the Capitol beltway can be just as horrendous as traffic in Chicago or Atlanta.
