Thats correct, I bought one of those today. The info is.... Lego Duplo polybag Set # 1759 Age: 1 1/2 - 5 Pieces: 7 The polybag has no mention of McDonald's on it, but instead says "Special offer inside". Another oddity: this one is made in (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.promo)

Are Duplo building plates hard to come by ? I have one up on eBay (not that I'm plugging it here) and I'm getting no interest. Does Lego still make those ? I found this one in a store that had removed it from the computer (which I think means it had (...) (25 years ago, 31-Oct-99, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) Might you mean 2821, perhaps? I did a search for duplo dinosaurs (URL) this was the closest number to the one you quoted. There isn't a bucket, but there is a tub, 2603, which is a large rectangular plastic box with lid. (I, or rather my (...) (25 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.duplo)

I was in a store the other day and I saw a Duplo Ambulance on the shelf. I forget the box number, but it had 9 pcs. An ambulance, a stretcher, two people (I think) and a few other parts. Looked like something from 1992-94 or so. they wanted $13 for (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-99, to lugnet.duplo)

Ray - I don't know the official name, but I always referred to that set the same way that the Lugnet database does, as the "Crane and Backhoe Set." While that's not an answer to your question, it is proof that you're not alone! I purchased one of (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.duplo)
