Re: Explore info pages up at lego.com

A whole stack of Explore sets are now listed at Shop At Home. There are some extra sets not listed on the info pages and some of those on the info pages are not yet up at SAH. There are differences from country to country eg USA has all 5 of the new (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.primo)

  Introducing Brickenbloom Place & Gardens

While many people have already viewed the pictures available on BrickShelf, I thought I’d go ahead and make an “official” announcement regarding my first really big MOC: Brickenbloom Place & Gardens. For those of you wishing to skip my usual, (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.org.us.richlug, lugnet.duplo, lugnet.belville, lugnet.town) !!

Re: New Duplo Trains in June?

(...) And now it says available in NZ in August. Guess it'll be the same for Oz. Deidre drb@tasmail.com (23 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.loc.nz)

Re: Explore info pages up at lego.com

(...) I don't think they're remote control as such, judging from the pictures and blurb they are controlled with a greater variety of switches along the same lines (sorry!) as the red polarity switches that lay on the track, presumably with new (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

(...) Actually this makes more sense because it seems a 2 x 2 Duplo plate would border on being a choking hazard for small children. Maggie C. (23 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: Explore info pages up at lego.com

The Intelli-Train Gift Set (#3225) looks promising, does this mean bringing remote control to the little trains? -Harvey (23 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

(...) Sorry about that Deidre, but it is a 2×4 plate and there are two per bucket in red. My mistake (and correction)-Harvey (23 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: Goozle

(...) I thought the designer must have had a nightmare involving a frog! Does anyone know if these ever appeared in Australian stores? I've never seen them although they've been in the last 2 or 3 catalogues. Deidre drb@tasmail.com (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: Explore info pages up at lego.com

(...) A summary page listing set names only (with links) is (URL) products can be seen with URLs of the form (URL) the set number on the end. Here is a list of the new sets shown (some older Duplo sets are listed under the Explore name too, I've (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.admin.database)

Explore info pages up at lego.com

The www.lego.com/explore info pages are now up. Some of the explore sets and names are advertised but they are still not listed at Shop at Home. Deidre drb@tasmail.com (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

In lugnet.duplo, Harvey Henkelman writes: never saw in regular DUPLO®, such as... (...) Ah, my mistake, I was taking a "standard brick" to be a 4*2 brick rather than a 2*2 brick. There have been 4*2 plates with only 4 studs instead of 8 around for a (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Goozle

This toy is everything it promised. It is by far the most likely representation of Cthulhu ever (Love)crafted. What dark corner of their souls did the designers have to look into to create this? Oo! And the head swivels open! And the eyes spin, and (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

(...) The plate has four studs on top, just like the regular bricks...-Harvey (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

(...) How many studs on top - 4 in the middle or 8? The 4 stud ones have been around for a long time, 8 I haven't seen before so this would probably be new. (...) Is this the one in 2400 Cute Building Vehicles? This one was also in one of the Korean (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  4085 Bucket (Explore)

Just got this tonight, overall I'm impressed. Seen some stuff that I've never saw in regular DUPLO®, such as... "plates" (2 make one standard brick) helicopter/windmill rotor ...other than that. they're just standard DUPLO® (even to the name stamped (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: More Disney in 2002 or not?

(...) There's the Fabuland'ish Mickey and Minnie with variations and a Pluto. They are really fabulously made and I'm hoping they'll extend the line to other characters like Donald, Daisy and Goofy. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Studio's xover (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

More Disney in 2002 or not?

Whilst I'm trawling around in Lego press-releases, I was reminded of the comment about more Disney in 2002 from (URL) agreements In 1999, we launched for the first time a number of themes based on license agreements signed in 1998 with Walt Disney (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)
