Have recently acquired from a car boot sale - thanks, Mum! - approx UK£200 retail of Duplo train. The highlight is bridge 2738, but I have a concern: My - or rather my daughter's?! - engine was bought as my - sorry her - Xmas present (freight train (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) 2988 does exist and it's not another version of 2989, both are available in Australia (well were, most places were clearing Pooh before Christmas). I don't know if it was/is available in the US. 2988 is listed in the 2000 (2) Australian (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.duplo)
