  Re: clutch

(...) One of my other hobbies (nitro RC Cars and trucks) uses this method. (URL) will notice that the "gear" in the picture has holes all the way around. (Similar to a large technic gear)....friction pegs slip into these holes. This gives you some (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  Re: clutch

(...) When I was a kid I made a basic centrifugal clutch using 2 of these tyres (URL) on technic wheels. Was *HUGE* but worked like a charm. Only had max travel of less than 1/2 stud, that was all it needed. ROSCO (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  Re: clutch

  Re: new covering

(...) Since you have dear-lego as one of the groups I suppose you'd like them to make this an official part. Can't be done even though you've said bye-bye to the (C). Why? LEGO can't (C) the parts themself since they now are a sort of public domain. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  Re: new covering

This is a good idea and conceptually similar to making your own sails or stickers. You should experiment with various types of printable transparency stock as used to make viewgraphs since putting printing on the pieces is the next logical step. (...)   RE: new covering

(...) interesting...:-) Seriously, this is a very neat way of getting a covered look to a model without losing the look of transparency. Have you actually made any of these panels? Doea the stud locking work even with very thin plastic? I think that (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  new covering

hi what do you think about this system of course we can have many modifications of this idea i suppose the best solution is to have the covering panel elastic (bendable) covering panel can be fixed by plate 1x1 round or other plates the special bush (...)
