 Dear LEGO / 4352 (-20)
  Re: new covering

(...) Since you have dear-lego as one of the groups I suppose you'd like them to make this an official part. Can't be done even though you've said bye-bye to the (C). Why? LEGO can't (C) the parts themself since they now are a sort of public domain. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  Re: new covering

This is a good idea and conceptually similar to making your own sails or stickers. You should experiment with various types of printable transparency stock as used to make viewgraphs since putting printing on the pieces is the next logical step. (...)   RE: new covering

(...) interesting...:-) Seriously, this is a very neat way of getting a covered look to a model without losing the look of transparency. Have you actually made any of these panels? Doea the stud locking work even with very thin plastic? I think that (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  new covering

hi what do you think about this system of course we can have many modifications of this idea i suppose the best solution is to have the covering panel elastic (bendable) covering panel can be fixed by plate 1x1 round or other plates the special bush (...)   Re: ISS kit - a real Rocket Scientist's perspective

(...) Here's another Rocket Scientist (in training's) perspective. I work at NASA Glenn in Cleveland, where many a rocket scientist hangs out.   ISS kit - a real Rocket Scientist's perspective

I recently bought one of these for my brother, who has a PhD in AeroSpace, and has done some work on the space station. I thought it would be perfect for his office. He sent me this review: ---...--- I put together the lego space station kit (7467) (...) (21 years ago, 3-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  ISS kit

Greetings, Earth-Mortals! I just got and built the 7467 International Space Station kit. Necesito mas, por favor! This is great, and shows the TLC cares about us again, IMHO. Dear lego, there is one item I really would like to see available on the s@h, it's the red mini-motor. This item is easily available in the USA through pldstore.com, but it seems there is no way to get it in europe (and particularly in France). This (...)   Re: Dear lego, thanks for the technic accessories...

(...) Yes I see that the set has quiet a few very good parts. The names are so confusing. When I saw that it said wheels, I was thinking of wheels used for cars and machines not gears. It could have just be named Technic Gears. Same with Technic (...) (21 years ago, 13-Aug-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

Re: Dear lego, thanks for the technic accessories...

(...) I think there is a set that either has various gears or a car gearbox. I'm not sure. It should be number 10076. This could also be a wheel set.   Dear lego, thanks for the technic accessories...

I like the new technic accessory sets (like the beams, bushes etc) However, there are 5 sets that (IMHO) are missing: 1.a set with gears of various kinds 2.a gearbox set (with parts like in the 8448 supercar and 8466 4x4 off roader) 3.a steering set (...)
