 Dear LEGO / 3747 (-10)
Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

RE: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

(...) Or even 4795 - Underwater Base! How about a "spot the technic in non-technic sets" competition? William (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

RE: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

(...) Only (...) but (...) This may all come true (sadly), but if Lego Direct expect to be able to compete in selling these sets they are going to have to *SERIOUSLY* improve their non-box shipping operation. 20 days to answer a pre-sales question (...)   Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

This would be from online sellers of course like TRU's web site, Lego woudn't want these packs on shop (...) (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

(...) this article, I only see that they are moving into other areas in addition to building bricks. On the subject of the traditional technic beams, you can still find them in newish sets like 8458 and 8466. You can hardly construct a large, stable (...)   Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

Given the trend over the past few years and looking at the pictures of upcoming products (spybots - just WHAT are these?????? - et. al.) I have to ask - Is TLC killing off "traditional" Technics? I'm hard pressed to find any traditional Technic (...) (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

Dear Lego, Please make some 7U technic axles before I have to get my junior hack-saw out! "He who hates axles protruding past wheel hubs" (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: idea for what would be the PERFECT bunch of lego sets

(...) LEGO has almost always had this kind of sets in their collection. They used to have the "Basic" line over here (which was called "Freestyle" in the US, if I remember correctly). And now they have the "Creator" line, with basic bricks and (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

RE: LEGO-Galidor Perspective In L.A. Times Article

(...) That's a good example of what's continually happening right now with the "new" (un)LEGO sets. It's becoming more and more incompatible with the LEGO System. I know that LEGO still has the common sense to design the new parts with some kind of (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)
