 Dear LEGO / 3522 (-20)
Re: Price (there must be some mistake...)

Ok, the typo was fixed. Apparentely, *someone* is watching... :-) Pedro (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Price (there must be some mistake...)

(...) Yep, that would buy me a car. A *real* one... Somebody should tell the folks at LEGO that this pricing is wrong on their webpage. It may be scaring customers away... Anyway, it isn't a question of changed commas/dots - I'd wish it were so. The (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Thank you

Just a quick note to say thanks for the "Bob the Builder" Duplo sets ... not sure if that should be a sarcastic "thanks" as it now means my 2 year old daughter has just started her LEGO collection and is going to cost me a fortune in the long run ;) (...) "Pedro Silva" <el_gordo@netc.pt> wrote in message news:GLoH2E.KM4@lugnet.com... (...) Eek! That's just over £12,000, right? If that was 8000.00 BEF then that would be a bit cheaper than the UK price by around £35, so I think someone missed the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Price (there must be some mistake...)

Sorry, I just noticed that I did not mention the country: it is Belgium. Yesterday I saw a price of about 800000 BEF for that set (and that is WAY_TOO_MUCH!) Pedro (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

Price (there must be some mistake...)

Hi all, I was browsing and I came across with this: (URL) this price right? If so, why? Is this set a limited edition or so? Pedro (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Fast Company continues discussion of TLC

(...) It's great that Fast Company did a followup to the article. Good journalism for a good cause... now if only LEGO would understand the error of their ways... (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Misuse of the Lego Brand Name on ABC's The Practice

(...) Heh. Just about everyone does it (calls LEGO Bricks "legos"); athough I find it rather amusing that a show about law and lawyers misuses a trademark. :) thanks, James (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.mediawatch)

Misuse of the Lego Brand Name on ABC's The Practice

As I was watching ABC's The Practice last night, I noticed that they were using "Lego" repetitively without saying "bricks" or "building toys". I read the Fair Play statement not long ago and was surprised to hear TLC's trademark being so blatently (...) (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: How about "Technic Tubs" ???...???

(...) YES! YES! YES!!!...!!! and isn't this ironic, people BEGGING a company to let them buy their product....... Ironically, I see a parallel in another hobby. I have a few old convertibles that GM no longer makes parts for. For a while, I'd pay (...) (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

(...) Me too. (...) Well, you've summed up the argument perfectly in two lines. Maybe though as the Technic brand is being so poorly catered for at the moment we should pitch this as a Mindstorms basic bulk pack. Just changing the name not the (...)   Re: How about "Technic Tubs" ???...???

(...) I have wished for something like this for a long time as well: it would be really cool to have a separate tub for each colour of technic elements! The vast majority of pieces should be mainly beams, (without overly many small ones) and technic (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)
