Hey, you're treading on some long toes here. It is a famous and highly
accredited series, and has even become a cultural icon. To give a few
examples: it has been refered to in (very obviously) the Dire Straits clip
"Calling Elvis", in scenes form "Dexters Laboratory" and in Wallace and
Gromit's "A Close Shave".
Yust a few days ago the British Broadcasting Corporation featured a special
focusing on the creator of the series, Gerry Anderson.

(It felt soo right to type "Thunderbirds" in the searchbox and then hit the
button "Go" :-)
I think Alex has a gread idea, I would love to see a Thunderbird 2.
